But that ultimately led to the right one. That right buyer was also a family of faith. Micah was always so engaged in our process, really easy to reach, and always attentive to our needs, thoughts, and desires. In fact, it was her engaging and monitoring practices that lead to our faith-filled showing that blossomed to the sale.
It happened as we were in a whirlwind of visits and showings, where people were coming and going, hand over fist, one gentleman reached out and expressed interest in seeing the house again, but wasn’t sure when they would be able to stop by. She advised them to come asap as lots of folks were stopping by to see our gem of a home, ranch style, brick structure, nestled in the Hunterdale area at the end of a cove getting lots of attention. She encouraged them to come quickly as the choice may not last very long. They did and loved it. So much so, they wrote a letter and sent it at midnight to tell their faith story of why they knew it was the one. Their story completely collided with our faith story of why & how to sell. The other family had been searching and praying for the right house and a sign. My wife and I had been praying and asking God to send the right family for our place.
Upon entering the house, they knew something was different and saw a single picture of Jesus left in the house. That was the sign for them. That was also the picture that my wife said that she sensed God tell her to leave that one picture up in the home as a beacon. The right family, searching for a sign, would see it and know it. Micah, both knowingly and unknowingly arranged and assisted in this incredible encounter, which lead to a beautiful crescendo and sale, ushered by a skillful and savvy, Micah Dillon.
